What I've been up to lately

These first 3 pictures are for a row robin I am participating in with some ladies I met at the retreat in AZ in February. These are for Misha, I need to make one more for her. The top block took me about 10 hours to make. Paper pieced. All are from Marcia's Quilter's Cache site.

This is a 38 inch lonestar I made using the Quilt Smart fusible method. Its so cool and gives incredible results. I'm thrilled with it.

I purchased this book today. Incredible patterns. Lots of pieces. Author says It can be done. You can do it..... well basically that's what it said in the book, so I bought it! Ha! we will see. Probably in a few years, if I can really do it.

Block Party April 2010

I have agreed to assist with the about.com block party this month. Here are my four blocks to submit. I love how the dark ad light sides play off each other and give movement to this block.

This and that

This is a quick little quilt I made last weekend. I finished up the border yesterday.

I fell in love with this line of fabrics I believe by Maywood Studio, It is called

Backporch bouquet, and I wish I could remember the designer, but its gorgeous.

I'm getting a bit ahead of myself on the row robin. Here is the row for the next quilt headed my way. This one is for Becky, she asked for southwestern themed blocks, or these Arizona blocks from Quilter's cache, I had lots of fun making these last friday with my quilting group.

Nell's round robin

I have added my round to Nell's round robin quilt. For her quilt we are to also add to the story going along with this story quilt, it was fun to think of the story as I sewed the border.

I have finished the quilting on this fun quilt. Its off to be bound! Yay! I love how it turned out.
